RTMS September release

The RTMS September release introduces a variety of improvements and new functionality.

Zoom Contact Center RTMS updates

You can now use Interactive Voice Response (IVR) streaming to send real-time audio and event data from IVR flows to third-party applications. Use existing Realtime Media Stream (RTMS) webhooks to capture and process customer audio, SIP information, and DTMF input during automated call flows. For more information, see IVR streaming for Contact Center.

Chat data

RTMS now delivers public, or everyone, meeting and webinar chat as media data. For more information, see Chat in the Handling media data.

Auto-start controls

An app's user can now scope which meeting types trigger auto-start for their app, such as meetings they host, meetings hosted by others in their account, or meetings joined outside their own account.

Developers set the default scope, and it can be adjusted when the app is added to a user's or admin's account. For more information, see Account admin web portal controls.

Host permissions

Hosts reviewing a participant's app request can now select Always allow in my meetings, in addition to Allow or Deny, so the app doesn't need to request approval again in meetings and webinars they host. For more information, see Request modals.
