Getting started with Realtime Media Streams
Use Realtime Media Streams (RTMS) to access media from Zoom Contact Center engagements. Once RTMS is enabled on your account, you create an app, add RTMS scopes to the app, and then start developing your app to use RTMS. After you've developed your app, you can use it to launch RTMS streams and start receiving RTMS data.
Streams launch automatically when an agent or consumer connects.
To start using RTMS
Follow these steps to start using RTMS.
- To add RTMS to your app, you need to add the corresponding RTMS scopes to your app. For more information, see Add Realtime Media Streams to your app.
- Now that your app has RTMS scopes, you can start getting media data from your Zoom Contact Center engagements. For more information, see Sample Apps.
To use your ZCC RTMS app in your contact center workflow, be sure to assign it to the appropriate queue. For guidance on queue configuration, see Configuring Zoom Apps for Zoom Contact Center.
