New Server-to-Server OAuth App Type

Summary:The article announces the release of a new Server-to-Server OAuth app type for the Zoom Developer Platform on June 2, 2022. This enables developers to securely generate an access token to use Zoom APIs without user interaction. Developers need to be granted access permissions by Zoom administrators.

The Server-to-Server OAuth app type should be available by June 2, 2022 at midnight PST. UPDATE: This is now available for Developers with access permissions (see note below).

The Server-to-Server OAuth app type enables Developers to securely generate an access token without the need for user interaction. Developers can use this access token to enable their private server application to use scopes that account owners have granted permission to use. See the following for details:

Note: In order for a Developer to use this app type, administrators must use Role Management to give the Developer access permissions.
