# Deploy with entry ID mode

<!-- WARNING: THIS FILE WAS AUTOGENERATED! DO NOT EDIT! -->

Use an entry ID when you want the Zoom Customer Experience SDK for web to start a specific flow. Entry ID mode gives you direct control over which flow launches.

## Chat entry ID mode

To deploy Contact Center chat with an entry ID:

1. Sign in to the [Zoom web portal](https://zoom.us) as a Contact Center Admin.
2. In the navigation panel, choose **Contact Center Management**, then choose **Flows**.
3. Choose the name of a chat flow to open the editor.
4. Choose the **Start** widget, then choose **Manage Entry Point**.
5. Choose **Import SDK** to display the entry ID embed code.
6. Copy the code and add the entry ID chat script to your site. An entry ID chat script may look like this:

    ```html
    <script
        data-apikey="your_key"
        data-entry-id="entry_id_value"
        src="https://test.example.com/sample/web-sdk/chat-client.js"
    ></script>
    ```

7. Reload your page to see the icon at the bottom corner to start the chat client.

Use an entry ID when you want the SDK to start a specific bot flow. You can also use an entry ID with a Welcome Screen to collect user information before the user interacts with the chatbot.

> **Warning**
>
> Using a Welcome Screen adds user friction and can reduce engagement. Use an entry ID only when your chat experience requires it.

> **Note**
>
> To use Android and iOS SDKs for Zoom Virtual Agent, you must have a Zoom Contact Center license to use its Android and iOS SDK. These SDKs contain Zoom Virtual Agent components.

To add an entry ID:

2. In the navigation panel, choose **Virtual Agent**, then choose your bot.
3. In **Bot Flows**, open the bot's **Main Flow**.
4. Get the entry ID from the flow configuration.
5. Embed the SDK with your entry ID.

To add video engagement using an entry ID:

2. In the navigation panel, choose **Contact Center Management**, then choose **Flows**.
3. To open the editor, choose the name of a video flow.
4. Choose the **Start** widget, then choose **Manage Entry Point**. You can also choose this option from the **List view option** menu for your flow.
5. If you don't already have an entry point, choose **Add Entry Point** and choose an entry ID for the SDK to use. For more information about adding entry points to a flow, see [Adding entry points to a flow](https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4480102075405).
6. Turn off **Don't Keep Activities**. This prevents Contact Center from shutting down in Google Chrome when the browser is in the background.
7. Choose **Install SDK** to display the SDK code to copy to your site.
8. Copy the code and add it to your site. A video script may look like this:

    ```html
    <script
        data-apikey="your_key"
        data-entry-id="entry_id_value"
        src="https://test.example.com/sample/web-sdk/video-client.js"
    ></script>
    ```

9. Reload your page to see the icon at the bottom corner to start the video client.
