# Prepare your app for production

In your app build flow, the **Production** toggle displays all the fields you need to prepare your app for testing and publishing to the Zoom Marketplace.

## Prerequisite

You have completed the steps for [Creating a Zoom general app](/docs/build-flow/).

## App Listing

On the **App Listing** page, enter all the information about your app that will appear on its listing page on the Zoom Marketplace.

### App Information

-   **App icon -** Provide an 160 x 160 pixel sized image for your icon. You can provide different images for light mode and dark mode. For more information, see [Reference: App Icon](/docs/build-flow/app-icon/)
-   **App name -** Enter a name that is informative to customers, unique, and consisting of a maximum of 50 characters.
-   **Short description -** Describe your app's core features in 1-2 sentences.
-   **Long description -** Describe the specific features and functionality of your app and your company.
-   **App Gallery -** Upload up to images or a video that shows your app's core features and functionality.
-   **Company name -** This is displayed on the Marketplace homepage and the app listing page.
-   **Developer contact information -** Provide a monitored email address. Zoom uses this email for important issues about your app.
-   **Categorize your app -** Select the categories and segment information that best describes your app.

## Technical Design

You must complete the Technical Design Document (TDD) in order to submit your app for review and eventual publication to the Zoom App Marketplace.

## Beta test and preview your app

On the **Beta Test** page, for validation purposes you can add your app to your account or use an authorization URL to share it with internal and external users.

-   **To add** the app for your own account, click **Add App Now** and then **Allow**.
-   **To share** your app, generate an **authorization URL**, copy it, and share with test users.

    **Note:** To share your app outside your account, click **Request to share**. This sends a request to the Zoom Marketplace team who will review your request.

-   To see how your app looks in the Marketplace, click **Preview Your App Listing Page**.
