Attention developers Zoom Phone will no longer support MAC_address updates after June 18, 2025. Plan ahead to avoid disruption.

Zoom Phone MAC_address deprecation


Zoom Phone will deprecate the MAC_address field in [Update a device](/docs/api/phone/#tag/phone-devices/PATCH/phone/devices/{deviceId}) on June 18, 2025. We no longer change a MAC address because of the required updates to third-party platforms and databases. If you need to change a MAC address, use [Add a Device](/docs/api/phone/#tag/phone-devices/POST/phone/devices) and [Delete Device](/docs/api/phone/#tag/phone-devices/DELETE/phone/devices/{deviceId}).


Remove all calls to update MAC_address by June 18th, 2025 to avoid or prevent disruption.
