Renaming of Zoom Docs


Effective May 18, 2026, Zoom Docs will be renamed to Canvas across our product experience and documentation.

This update reflects the continued evolution of the product and establishes a unified name moving forward. Beginning on the effective date, customer-facing documentation, product materials, onboarding resources, and related communications will transition to the Canvas branding.

## What Developers Should Expect
- Product documentation will begin using the name Canvas
- Existing functionality and core experiences remain unchanged
- API interfaces, scopes, and technical references will continue to use Docs until a later phase of the transition
- References to Zoom Docs may continue to appear temporarily in legacy materials and platform elements during the transition period
- Future updates and communications will continue under the Canvas branding

We encourage developers and partners to begin adopting the Canvas naming convention in customer-facing materials and future documentation references where applicable.
